Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our infrastructure development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of these projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, manage resources, and oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion.
  • Expectation Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met, and manage project scope to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Crisis Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans as necessary, and ensure timely resolutions to project issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Cost Management: Develop and manage project cost plans, track expenses, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolutions and minimal impact on project timelines.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Construction Project Management or a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering). A master's degree in a relevant subject is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in delivering complex and large-scale projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams from inception to completion.
  • Skills: Strong technical and commercial understanding of local infrastructure and building projects, along with proficiency in project management software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certifications: Membership or Fellowship in RICS (preferably through the Project Management route) or other recognized project management certifications (e.g., PMP from PMI).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and related documentation.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrated resilience, leadership, and effective negotiation skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
