Laboratory Operations Manager

Domo Ventures W.L.L. is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technologist to join their team and contribute to delivering exceptional services to clients.

As a Senior Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in the laboratory, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring that all tests and analyses are carried out accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of technologists and ensuring they are trained and equipped to perform their duties to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring all tests and analyses are carried out accurately and efficiently
• Manage and train a team of technologists, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and implement new testing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Review and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to clients
• Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Stay updated on industry developments and advancements, and implement best practices in the laboratory

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed
