Job Description:

This role involves leading our drilling projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement drilling strategies, oversee operational activities, and ensure that all projects meet or exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Drilling Strategies: Create comprehensive well construction plans, including casing designs and control measures.
  • Provide Operational Support: Offer on-site technical guidance to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure Safety Protocols: Implement and maintain strict safety standards, conducting regular risk assessments and investigating incidents.
  • Manage Financial Resources: Develop and oversee drilling budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely expenditure management.
  • Integrate Innovative Technologies: Research, evaluate, and recommend cutting-edge drilling technologies to boost performance.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Mentor junior engineers, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with geology, reservoir, and operations teams to drive project success.

Requirements:

  • Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
