About the Job:

This Well Construction and Planning Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing drilling strategies, leading the creation of casing plans, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in well construction, operational oversight, and innovation.

Main Tasks:

  • Drilling Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive drilling strategies, including casing plans and well control measures.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide on-site technical guidance during the drilling process to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Safety and Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Financial Planning and Management: Oversee drilling financial plans, manage expenses, and authorize service charges.
  • Innovation and Technology: Stay up-to-date with the latest drilling technologies and introduce innovative solutions to improve productivity.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Foster a collaborative work environment and guide junior engineers in their roles.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with geology, reservoir, and operational teams to achieve project objectives.

Salary Range: The estimated annual salary for this role is $180,000 - $250,000.
