Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Tripoli, Libya.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and provide evidence-based drug therapy recommendations to healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patient medication regimens and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper medication use and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  • Participate in medication reconciliation and medication error prevention initiatives.
  • Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and developments in the field of pharmacy.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the practice of pharmacy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree.
  • Valid pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical record systems.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
