Lead Cath Lab Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team in the Cath Lab. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit and ensuring that all patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Cath Lab unit, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient use of resources.
• Patient Care: Monitor patient care and ensure that all treatments and procedures are carried out according to established protocols and standards.
• Clinical Leadership: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Nursing Supervision: Provide direct patient care as needed and supervise the performance of nursing staff.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise in the unit.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements:

• Certifications: Valid nursing license and BLS certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a charge nurse or leadership role preferred.
• Clinical Knowledge: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac procedures and treatments.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multitasking: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards.
