Post Doctoral Fellow: Tavis Lab

Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, healthcare and service, is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track postdoctoral fellow appointment in the Department of Molecular Microbiology & Immunology. Qualifications required are a Ph.D. in biochemistry with an emphasis in protein purification, enzymology, and crystallography with 0-3 year's postdoctoral experience. The successful candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary collaborative team under Dr. Tavis' supervision to purify variants of viral enzymes, evaluate the variants' activities, and pursue crystallization and structural determination studies on the them. Salary will be competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.
