Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Electronics Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic systems in our armored vehicle manufacturing facility. The technician will ensure proper functioning of control systems, wiring, instrumentation, and electronic assemblies for vehicles intended for overseas clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring,electronic components, sensors, and control systems in armored vehicles.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues in CNC machines, production equipment, and vehicle sub-assemblies.
• Support the assembly and integration of electronic modules including lighting, instrumentation, communication, and security systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicle electrical systems, battery systems, and power distribution units.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to resolve faults.
• Coordinate with mechanical and production teams to integrate electrical and electronic systems seamlessly.
• Perform diagnostics using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and electrical regulations.
• Support customization and upgrades of armored vehicles for specific overseas client requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• 37 years of experience in electrical and electronics maintenance in automotive, defense, or heavy fabrication environments.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle electronics, PLCs, sensors, wiring harnesses, and control circuits.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools, meters, oscilloscopes, and electronic testing equipment.
