Electrical Maintenance Technician

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in our armored vehicle manufacturing facility. The candidate will ensure uninterrupted electrical operations across production lines, CNC machines, welding stations, and assembly areas supporting overseas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, control panels, motors, lighting, and power distribution units.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, fabrication tools, welding machines, and hydraulic presses.
• Inspect and maintain electrical wiring, panels, PLCs, contactors, relays, and sensors.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and electrical systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and statutory regulations.
• Support production teams by providing quick response during electrical breakdowns.
• Coordinate with mechanical and production departments to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend power-saving measures.
• Participate in machine upgrades and modifications for efficiency improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 38 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in automotive or defense manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC machines, control circuits, drives, sensors, and PLC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
