Job Description
Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, health care and service is seeking applicants for a Urologic surgeon in the Division of Urology in the Department of Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Candidates having a record of excellence in clinical urology are encouraged to apply for this open-rank position. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible. Fellowship training is optional. Entry level and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. The division currently is comprised of 7 other urologists and has an accredited residency program. Our adult Urology practice covers St. Louis University Hospital as well as a community hospital in the Clayton district of St. Louis. The position is based at SSM Health St. Joseph's Hospital –Lake St. Louis serving St. Charles, Warrenton, and Lincoln counties. This is 216 bed hospital and has recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation. In 2014, it was named one of the nation's Top 100 Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics and made Becker's Hospital Review's list of 100 Great Community Hospitals.
