Your Mission as a Sales ManagerYour mission as the Sales Manager will be to lead and execute the company's commercial strategy in Libya. You will steer a high-performing team, manage strategic customer relationships, and ensure exceptional sales execution in alignment with company objectives. This leadership role blends operational rigor with entrepreneurial thinking to uncover new growth opportunities and elevate our market presence.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities a Sales Manager- Lead the salesforce and oversee all country-level sales operations and distribution activities
- Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with corporate goals
- Achieve performance targets for sales, delivery, and customer satisfaction
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Manage trade marketing activities and supply chain coordination
- Monitor sub-distributor and point-of-sale stock and sales flows
- Provide clear reporting and recommendations to executive leadership
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Drive operational efficiency and cost-effective execution
- Maintain strict confidentiality on strategic projects and business performance
- 8+ years of total experience in Sales, with solid background in FMCG
- BSc or Master's in Business, Finance, or Engineering
- Candidates from global FMCG firms are highly encouraged
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
- Strong command of KPIs in FMCG sales
- Proven success in channel management
- Business analytics and MS Office proficiency
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Deep knowledge of the Libyan market
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving mindset
- High independence and strong execution capabilities
- Working Hours: Full-time, 9 to 5, Saturday to Thursday.
- Location: Tripoli, Libya (with fieldwork and travel as required).
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
