Electrical Systems Specialist

A leading drilling company in Kuwait seeks a skilled Electrician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical systems to meet technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Run electrical wiring and conduit to install circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical infrastructure.
• Test and inspect electrical installations to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
• Identify potential issues and develop preventative maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work and inspections.
• Comply with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and take appropriate action to restore power and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with additional relevant electrical certifications or licenses.
• 3+ years of experience as an Electrician with land-based drilling rigs and familiarity with rig-specific electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment used in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
