Senior Electrical Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our team at Linked4HR Human Resources Consultancies LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on land-based drilling rigs in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
• Run electrical wiring and conduit, install circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical infrastructure as needed.
• Test electrical installations to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop preventative maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.
• Respond to electrical emergencies, such as power outages or equipment failures, and take appropriate action to restore power and ensure safety.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements.
• Maintain an adequate supply of parts for emergency repairs.
• Monitor the operational performance of the Company's equipment. Identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional relevant electrical certifications or licenses.
• Experience of 3+ years as an Electrician with land-based drilling rigs and familiarity with rig-specific electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment used in industrial or oil and gas settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
