Position: Accounting Manager

Kasrawy Group is a leading company in the automotive industry in Libya.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Tripoli, Libya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the work of the accounting team and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management

- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS

- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

- Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support as needed

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections to ensure adequate funds are available for operations

- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial transactions

- Coordinate and assist with the annual audit process

- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA or equivalent certification preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus

- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
