About the Role

As a Supporting Teacher, your core mission is to provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a student, ensuring they are fully engaged and included in the classroom experience. You will play a pivotal role in helping the student navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges, acting as a bridge between the student and the learning environment.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Supporting Teacher
  • Provide individualized support to the student during class activities.
  • Assist in adapting lessons and instructional materials to the student's needs. 
  • Encourage peer interaction and help build the student's confidence. 
  • Collaborate daily with the classroom teacher and support staff. 
  • Monitor the student's development and regularly report progress to relevant stakeholders.
Your Role as a Supporting Teacher
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to the student during class activities.
  • Adapt lessons and materials to suit the student's learning needs.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and build the student's confidence.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher and school staff to monitor progress.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the student's development.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Supporting Teacher
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience working with children, especially in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting learners.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Tripoli AlSerraj.
Additional Information 
  • Location: On-site at a private school in Serraj.
  • Working Hours: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
  • Start Date: Immediate.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
