Job Description:

Domo Ventures W.L.L. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist in Cardiacthoracic Surgery to join our expanding team in Tripoli, Libya. As a Specialist in Cardiacthoracic Surgery, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to patients with cardiovascular and thoracic diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiovascular and thoracic diseases, including physical examination, diagnostic testing, and medical history review
  • - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their condition and medical history
  • - Perform complex surgical procedures on the heart, lungs, and other thoracic organs
  • - Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure their safety and well-being
  • - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and technicians, to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in cardiacthoracic surgery through continuous education and training
  • - Participate in research and academic activities to contribute to the advancement of the field
  • - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients
  • - Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and treatment
  • - Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide education and support regarding their condition and treatment plan

Qualifications:

  • - Medical degree from an accredited university
  • - Board certification in Cardiacthoracic Surgery
  • - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Specialist in Cardiacthoracic Surgery
  • - In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular and thoracic diseases and their treatment
  • - Proficient in performing complex surgical procedures on the heart, lungs, and other thoracic organs
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • - Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
  • - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • - Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions
  • - Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • - Valid medical license from Home Country
