Position: Supply Chain Section Head

Job Overview:

As the Supply Chain Section Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations of our company. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services from our suppliers to our customers. You will lead a team of supply chain professionals and work closely with other departments to implement effective supply chain strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

2. Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.

3. Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.

4. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan for future product needs.

5. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

6. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.

7. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.

8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain management.

9. Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

10. Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role, preferably in the FMCG industry.

3. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and procedures.

4. Excellent leadership and people management skills.

5. Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software.

10. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
