Your Mission as a Petrophysicist

As a Petrophysicist, your mission is to deliver precise reservoir evaluations through the integration of well log, core, and production data. Your work will directly influence exploration outcomes, drilling strategies, and field development planning—positioning you as a key player in the success of our upstream operations.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Petrophysicist
  • Analyze well log data to evaluate reservoir properties including porosity, permeability, water saturation, and hydrocarbon content.
  • Integrate core, log, and production data to construct detailed reservoir models.
  • Interpret cased-hole logs and contribute to formation evaluation processes.
  • Collaborate with geologists, drilling engineers, and reservoir teams to optimize well placement and completions.
  • Recommend logging tools and design logging programs for exploration and development wells.
  • Perform data quality control and ensure logging data accuracy and calibration.
  • Use advanced software tools such as Techlog and Petrel for modeling and visualization.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support reserves estimation and contribute to strategic field development plans.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Petrophysicist
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geoscience, Petrophysics, or Petroleum Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of petrophysical analysis and reservoir characterization techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with both wireline and Logging While Drilling (LWD) data.
  • Proficient in Techlog and capable of leveraging advanced analytical software.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative team spirit.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Working Days & Hours: Sunday to Thursday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
