ICLA Technical Officer

The Legal Technical Officer is responsible for the implementation of legal case management activities, training sessions, legal research and analysis, and supervision of legal consultants within the ICLA projects in the Area Office. The Officer supports the project coordinator, project manager, and Core Competency Specialist in drafting information materials (GIS scripts) and other awareness or counselling materials used by the team and consultant lawyers. The role includes the recruitment, briefing, planning, and supervision of consultant lawyers' day-to-day activities, regular reporting of legal case management and training activities, representation of NRC's ICLA programme, liaison with relevant authorities and stakeholders, and coordination with external partners.
