Senior Consultant Position

At Domo Ventures W.L.L., we are seeking an exceptional medical professional to fill the role of Senior Consultant - Cardiothoracic Surgery. Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Libya, is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to patients with heart and lung conditions.

Job Overview:

We require a highly skilled and experienced medical doctor to join our multidisciplinary team as a Senior Consultant - Cardiothoracic Surgery. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for providing expert surgical care to patients undergoing coronary artery bypass, valve replacement, and lung resections.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform surgeries with precision and expertise, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including consultations and follow-up care for patients.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of our department.
  • Mentor and train junior doctors, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology and Critical Care.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Cardiac Anesthesia and ICU.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
