- unlimited Your contribution to the energy transition As our O&M Electrical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the day-to-day operation and maintenance activities of utility-scale PV plants within the regional cluster, with particular focus on PV DC, LV and MV systems, inverters, protection, SCADA and associated electrical infrastructure. The role reports to the O&M Site Manager. The cluster comprises PV plants located across the Kozani and Grevena areas of Western Macedonia. This is a site-based role requiring regular travel between the plants within the cluster, as well as participation in the applicable on-call and emergency-response rota. You can look forward to the following tasks:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and testing on PV DC, LV and MV systems, inverters, protection, SCADA and associated electrical infrastructure, in accordance with the Facility Operation Plan (FOP), approved procedures and OEM instructions
• Work closely with Control Room personnel and other Site Engineers to respond to alarms, investigate faults and coordinate timely corrective actions, restoration and escalation
• Perform electrical testing and return-to-service checks, including insulation resistance, continuity, thermography, IV-curve, string analysis and functional tests, within demonstrated competence and authorization
• Conduct authorized MV switching, isolation, LOTO and permit-to-work activities in coordination with the O&M Site Manager, Control Room and other relevant stakeholders
• Analyze recurring electrical faults, inverter underperformance, communication failures and protection events and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Coordinate and supervise site services, subcontractors and OEM service teams, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards
• Support mechanical activities where safe, permitted and within demonstrated competence, under the direction of a competent Mechanical Engineer. This excludes any work requiring qualifications or authorization not held by the Electrical Site Engineer
• Support spare-parts and warranty-claim activities and maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, test results, technical reports and incident documentation
• Ensure compliance with HSE, permit-to-work and LOTO requirements, participate in the on-call and emergency-response rota, and provide operational support across the cluster according to operational needs Your energy is required You impress us with these
qualifications:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Valid MV switching authorization (or willingness to obtain it), non-negotiable
• Hands-on experience in 1,500 Vdc PV systems, inverters, protection relays, SCADA and electrical testing equipment, complemented by relevant OEM training on inverter, tracker or MV technologies is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction, commissioning, operation or maintenance of PV plants, power plants or comparable industrial assets
• Experience in utility-scale PV O&M will be considered a strong advantage
• Ability to interpret drawings, layouts, OEM manuals, maintenance instructions and technical procedures
• Good IT skills and familiarity with MS Office and digital maintenance, ticketing or reporting systems.
• Ability to remain in control and perform effectively under pressure and with limited supervision
• Good administrative, communication and reporting skills; team-oriented approach
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English and fluent Greek
