Anesthesia Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Anesthesia & ICU Consultant to provide specialized anesthesia and critical care services for cardiac patients. The role involves managing complex cardiac cases, providing perioperative and intensive care, supporting emergency situations, and working closely with multidisciplinary cardiac and critical care teams. Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide specialized anesthesia care for cardiac and major surgical procedures.
• Assess and manage patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
• Provide critical care management for patients in the ICU and cardiac ICU.
• Manage complex, high-risk, and emergency cardiac cases.
• Monitor and manage patients’ hemodynamic and clinical conditions.
• Provide appropriate airway management, ventilation, sedation, and pain management.
• Coordinate with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and clinical decision-making.
• Ensure safe and effective perioperative and postoperative patient management.
• Follow clinical protocols, patient safety, infection control, and hospital standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Support clinical training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing with medical and nursing staff.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and departmental activities. Mandatory Requirements
• Specialist Degree in Anesthesiology.
• Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship.
• Critical Care Medicine / ICU Fellowship.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in cardiac anesthesia and intensive/critical care.
• Experience managing complex and critically ill cardiac patients.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
