Job DescriptionSaint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service, invites applications for an academic pathologist position. Minimum qualifications include an MD/DO degree, BC in anatomic and clinical pathology. Additional interest or qualification in a subspecialty such as surgical pathology or hematopathology is welcome. The primary service responsibility is at a community hospital in the Saint Louis metropolitan area, and the successful candidate will work closely with other academic pathologists at Saint Louis University. Teaching medical residents is an important part of this position. Participation in translational research is also expected. Applicant must obtain a permanent Missouri state medical license prior to employment. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
