Job Summary

Under general supervision, Medical Assistants provide clinical office support in both the front office (greet patients, schedule appointment, check-in/out functions, test scheduling and obtain pre-certs/referrals) and the back office (room patients, perform vitals, assist with patient exam and/or procedures, etc.). These roles are critical to delivering exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, in addition to graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant Program; current Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification; and current certification or registration as a medical assistant. Applicants with prior work experience in an independent medical office environment setting, ambulatory setting, or hospital with a proven excellent customer service record and above average computer skills will be given higher priority. Electronic medical record experience preferred.
