At Eni, we are looking for Senior Drilling & Completion Supervisor within Eni North Africa B.V. in onshore Libya. You will be responsible for supervising drilling and completion operations at the wellsite, ensuring that activities are carried out safely, efficiently and cost effectively, in accordance with the Company's procedures, HSEQ standards and recognised petroleum engineering practices.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).
Main responsibilities:
- Review drilling and completion programmes to ensure full compliance with Company procedures, with particular attention to well integrity and operational safety.
- Supervise daily drilling and completion operations and represent the Company at the wellsite.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of contractor personnel involved in wellsite operations.
- Monitor consumption and stock levels of materials, and request personnel, services, equipment and materials in due time to prevent operational delays.
- Report regularly on the progress of operations and agree corrective actions when required, including providing support in resolving operational issues and analysing real time drilling data from site.
- Ensure lessons learned and related recommendations are captured and shared to improve future operations.
- Participate as a member of the emergency task force in the event of a major emergency and take immediate action to safeguard personnel, assets and the environment.
- Comply with the country's Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and Company HSE Policies by applying the requirements of the HSE Management System Guideline and the HSE Integrated Management System. Report, and encourage the reporting of, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and near misses related to HSE, and ensure colleagues and subordinates adopt appropriate HSE behaviours.
Skills and experience required:
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree.
- Extensive experience in Drilling & Completion operations.
- Required certificates: Well Control Level 4 (IWCF or IADC) and H₂S.
- Experience in drilling operations such as Horizontal Drilling, Drilling Fluids and Cement.
- Advanced drilling experience including Lean Profile, HPHT Drilling, Extended Reach Drilling and Wellbore Stability.
- Experience in completion and workover operations such as Well Testing, Gravel Pack and Well Stimulation.
- Advanced completion experience including Dual Completion and Intelligent Completion.
- Experience in rigless operations.
- Knowledge of economics, specifically cost analysis and cost control.
- Good knowledge of the main well data management and reporting software available on the market.
- Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
- Familiarity with digitalisation processes, including Real-Time Monitoring, rig-site drilling packages for performance optimisation and rig automation processes.
