Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Workshop Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering and possess excellent technical skills. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise a team of workshop technicians, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively - Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and diagnose any mechanical or electrical issues - Create repair plans and allocate tasks to workshop technicians - Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are completed within the specified time frame - Order and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment - Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance carried out - Monitor and control workshop expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness - Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and techniques - Conduct training sessions for workshop technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workshop - Liaise with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles and address any concerns or queries. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a workshop environment - Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Proficient in using computerized systems for vehicle diagnostics and repair - Fluent in English, both written and spoken - Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be based in Benghazi district, Libya and will be expected to work 40 hours per week, from Sunday to Thursday.
