The Strait Regional Centre for Education is seeking a highly qualified educator to fill a teaching position. The ideal candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, excellent instructional abilities, and the ability to integrate technology into their teaching practice.
As a member of our educational community, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting student learning and achievement. Our centre operates 20 schools with approximately 5,981 students, and we are committed to providing a safe, equitable, and inclusive environment for all learners.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A valid teacher certification for the Province of Nova Scotia;
- Mastery of methodology courses and experience in the subject area(s) at the appropriate level for the competition;
- Excellent classroom and student management skills;
- Knowledge and experience in the application of technologies used to enhance instruction and learning;
- Knowledge and/or experience in implementing inclusive teaching and assessment strategies;
In addition to the above qualifications, successful candidates will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
