Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sterilization and infection control in our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments according to established protocols and standards.
• Inspect and assemble equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor and record sterilization cycles and maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of sterilization equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient processing of equipment.
• Participate in training and educational programs to stay updated on best practices and new equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a CSSD Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
