Job Title: Senior Field Operations Specialist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of well site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare for well site operations, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Supervise and assist crew members in preparing the unit and calibrating equipment.
  • Conduct wireline well site operations to the satisfaction of customers at the wellsite.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures related to company equipment, tools, and practices to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
  • Communicate with clients on operations requirements, technical job data, and detailed job planning.
  • Maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of service, ensuring the confidentiality of all logging operations.
  • Prepare, draft, and complete all logs for printing on location or immediately upon return to the district office, depending on company and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for completing all documentation and tickets.
  • Report all activities, events, and related incidents.
  • Dedicate face time to communicate and manage personnel issues as needed.
  • Provide trainees with necessary assistance to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.
  • Train and develop less-experienced field engineers by performing on-job training to maintain a high degree of field crew efficiency.
  • Perform other duties assigned by manager.

People Management

  • Supervise, guide, and assist direct reports to perform daily activities in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Actively involved in job trainings and direct reports' trainings.
  • Generate commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm to the team goals and guide the team through periods of change or uncertainty.
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor workflow.
  • Provide opportunities for team members to suggest, participate, and contribute to improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Safety, Health, and Environment

  • Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health, and environment policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Report on changes within APC that impact relevant safety, health, environmental management, and social responsibility policies, procedures, and controls.

Policies, Processes, and Procedures

  • Follow all relevant Operations' policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
  • Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes, and operating procedures to others within APC.

Authority

  • Quality: Stop and report equipment or nonconforming service.
  • Industrial safety: Stop and report a sub-standard or unsafe condition.
  • Environment: Minimize possible environmental impacts.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of wireline experience.

Education and Certifications

  • University degree in Engineering.
