**Job Description**

**Job Overview/Summary:** under the supervision of the WPE senior officer the Case Worker will work as part of WPE Team and will be responsible for providing direct case management and psychosocial services, including group-based psychosocial activities through WGSS service delivery units to displaced women and girls and survivors of violence against women and girls, in Tripoli. **Major RESPONSIBILITIES:** The Case Worker shall:
Provide age-appropriate case management to survivors of violence against women and girls including assessment of client needs; basic crisis counseling; supporting clients in developing a plan to address their individual needs and safely implementing this plan; support to clients in pursuing services from other service providers as per clients’ wishes
Ensure that information collected `from t survivor is secured and kept confidential through GBVIMS Primero and referrals.
Provide services to adolescent girl survivors of violence against women and girls, including case management, age appropriate engagement and decision-making by survivors, Do No Harm analysis, and safety planning
Provide group psychosocial support to women and girls; facilitate sessions focused on building awareness of different themes related to their wellbeing, safety planning, and deliver key messages on violence against women and girls.
Provide essential information on available services and support survivors in navigating the referral pathways and accessing services
Participate in facilitating the Girl Shine Curriculum, the Arab Women Speak Out Curriculum, Women Rise and another behavior change strategies that the IRC WPE team may adopt for its programming.
Lead age-appropriate and specialized group emotional services for adolescent girls through identified or established safe spaces.
Carry out community outreach and awareness raising on available services and key messages on violence against women and girls.
Identify concerns related to and support adherence to referral protocols and guiding principles, and bring these concerns to the WPE Senior Officer.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders including community leaders and other humanitarian partners and service providers.
Document all program and client activity in an accurate and timely manner using standardized tools and forms
Complete weekly and monthly activity reports, according to guidance provided by the WPE Officer Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure successful implementation of WPE emergency response plan.
**KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:** the Case Worker position will directly report to the Senior WPE Officer

**Qualifications**

**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Gender Studies, etc.) and at least 1 year of relevant experience
Experience in counseling, social work, women’s health, or other related field
Clear understanding of and interest in the wellbeing of women and girls, and supporting their healing after the experience of violence
Understanding of case management, psychosocial support and life skills programming to promote survivor healing and recovery
Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients
Positive and professional attitude, including ability to lead and work well in a team setting
Strong ability to maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, and work in a difficult environment
Strong interpersonal skills (team work, listening, good communication and good listening)
Ability to work as team
Good English and Arabic language (Written and Spoken)
